Purchasing quilts Online bidding is now open! A total of 149 quilts are available for sale as part of the 2010 Quiltdownunder auction, and these have been divided into three categories: 45 quilts will be offered for live auction at our dinner. Prior bids will be taken on these quilts, both online or in person at the exhibition. Online bidding will close at 12 noon on October 16. 72 quilts will be offered via silent auction. Prior bids will be accepted, both online or in person. Bids will close at 9pm on the night of the auction (October 16), and the highest bidder at that time will win the quilt. Online bidding will close at 12 noon on October 16. The remaining 32 quilts are available for immediate sale at a fixed price - the first person to offer that price will win the quilt. Make sure you get in quick! Disclaimers: We are quilters, not computer experts, so are relying on our limited skills to run this auction:) So, it may take us some time to respond to your bids, which may mean you are overbid or miss out on a fixed-price sale before we manage to update this website. Please do understand that we will try to avoid this if at all possible. We do not have internet access at our auction venue, so unfortunately will have to close online bidding at 12 noon on the day of the auction (October 16). That meanst that even if you are the highest bidder on a quilt at that time, you may be overbid by those at the dinner auction.
